You're not burned out.
You're just quietly exhausted
in a way you can't quite explain.

I'm Kayane, a mental fitness coach and founder of Coaching with K. I help successful, capable people who are secretly exhausted stop just getting through the day and start actually living it.

Why This Exists

This isn't a character flaw. It's a missing education.

Everyone gets a Ferrari for a brain. Most of us just never learned how to drive it. Kayane Watson, Coaching with K

You know the feeling: gritting your teeth through a stressful week, holding your breath through hard conversations, running on empty long after your body has asked you to stop — and still showing up looking like you've got it together. That's not a personal failing. It's a missing education.

We teach children to read, to write, to do maths. Nobody teaches them how to manage their own thoughts, emotions and beliefs. Then we're surprised when those same capable kids grow up into adults quietly doing exactly what you just read.

The physical fitness boom already happened. Everyone wants a healthier body. The next revolution is mental fitness, and most people still don't have access to the tools that make it possible.

Mental fitness coaching has always been reserved for elite athletes, CEOs and people who can afford expensive, exclusive support. I'm changing that.

"Most people who think they have a mental health problem actually have a mental fitness problem, and a gap in learning and application."
Who This Is For

You look like you have it together. You're not sure you do.

You might be running a company, managing a team, holding down a demanding job, or holding a household together while everyone assumes you've got it handled. The job title matters less than this:

"I just need to get through this month."
"Everyone else seems to manage this so much better than me."
Second-guessing a decision you already made, hours after you made it.
Lying awake at 2am, replaying a conversation on a loop.
Snapping at someone you love, then hating yourself for it.
Feeling completely fine in public and completely depleted in private.

Sound familiar? That's who this is for.

The Method

Education, training, and reps.

Mental fitness isn't a mindset you're born with. It's a skill, and skills are built the same way, every time. It comes down to three things:

Mental Clarity — the ability to stop the spiral before it takes over, and make decisions without second-guessing yourself into the ground.
Emotional Regulation — feeling the stress hit and still responding calmly, instead of reacting in ways you instantly regret.
Resilient Routines — habits that hold up when life gets hard, instead of collapsing exactly when you need them most.

Here's how we build them:

Education

Understand how your mind actually works: the thoughts, beliefs and patterns quietly running the show. Most of us were never taught this.

Training

Learn specific, practical tools to regulate emotion and build resilience, applied to your real situations, not generic theory.

Reps

Practise deliberately and consistently, until the tools become instinct. Insight alone doesn't change anything. Repetition does.

Nobody gets stronger from one gym session. This is a practice, not a single conversation.

How This Is Different

Not therapy. Not motivation. A missing education.

I've read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Tried to think my way into feeling better. Information alone didn't move the needle, because knowing something and actually applying it are two separate skills. Application takes accountability, and showing up for it again and again, until it becomes muscle memory — no longer something you consciously have to think about, just how you operate.

That's why I built a structured mental fitness model instead of handing people more information: one that treats looking after your mind as an ongoing practice, not a single insight.

Not a therapist

I don't dig up the past. We work with where you are now and where you're going.

Not a life coach

Too vague, too fluffy — that's not how I work. My approach is education, training and reps, not just conversation.

Not a performance coach

Performance coaches focus on your output. I focus on your mind — the foundation everything else, including performance, is built on.

Not motivational

No quotes that feel good for twenty minutes and change nothing. Just tools that actually work.

I teach people to become their own coach, and their own biggest fan.

About Kayane

I was the person who looked completely fine while quietly not being okay at all.

Busy professional, busy mum: no luxury to fall apart, no idea I even needed help. I wasn't in crisis. I was just struggling elegantly.

Underneath that, there was something else I'd never questioned: I'd always been mentally strong and resilient, but I didn't know why. I came from a supportive family, life hadn't handed me any real fires to walk through, and I just assumed that was who I was. I'd never had to understand how my own resilience actually worked, which meant I had no way to rebuild it on purpose. When I needed it most, I couldn't just reach for something I'd never consciously had to access before.

Resilience by luck versus resilience by design.

That sent me deep into psychology, neuroscience and philosophy — the fields I now draw on constantly in my coaching. I learned how to access calm, clarity and resilience on tap, rather than hoping life would hand them to me again. That knowledge was tested for real when my daughter's birth turned into a medical emergency — a genuinely life-or-death situation. Because I understood what was happening in my mind and body, I stayed calm in the middle of extreme fear, thought with total clarity, and came through it without any lasting trauma.

I found the programme incredibly insightful. It's incredible what can be achieved given a clear understanding of my own personality traits and the tools to overcome obstacles, many of which I'd created myself. I feel energised and more productive across every area of my life.

The "aha" moment was realising huge changes aren't necessary: it's the small, consistent wins. I was hitting a wall with burnout in my second year of business. Now I'm more confident, producing better work, and actually enjoying life outside the office. If you want a coach who truly cares and gets results, look no further.

Thriving is all about getting beyond surviving in life, understanding my own limiting views, and taking back the power and agency to create the world I want. Kayane is a competent listener with deep knowledge; her insights helped me see the patterns that were restricting my power.

Kayane offered to take me through it, and I'm so thankful she did. It's been a game changer for me, and I say that with true honesty. I've learned that my stresses, my anxieties, my moods and my emotions are things I'm in full control of, and I'm changing them.
